Join the 2027 Peace & Unity 5K Walk & Run
Start the new year by moving together for a stronger, healthier, and more connected community.
In partnership with Friends of MLK Park, WE GOT THIS LBC Community Organization invites families, neighbors, youth, runners, and walkers of all experience levels to participate in the 2027 Peace & Unity 5K Walk & Run on Saturday, January 9, 2027, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Shoreline Aquatic Park in Long Beach.
More than a community fitness event, the Peace & Unity 5K is an opportunity to come together around a shared vision: one community, one dream, and one future. Participants will walk or run along Long Beach’s beautiful waterfront while supporting three important priorities:
Youth scholarships that help create educational opportunities for future leaders
Community unity through service, connection, and collective action
Health and wellness by encouraging active lifestyles and community care
Registration is free and open to the community. Participants who make a donation of $30 or more will receive an event T-shirt while supplies last.
